MƒA Master Teachers Gilbert Papagayo and Brittany Klimowicz invited teachers to explore bacterial transformation, protein structure, and recombinant DNA through microbial agar art. 

Last semester, MƒA Board of Directors members Dr. Colleen Lewis and Dr. Darryl Yong each led a separate MƒA course.

MƒA teachers explored cancer statistics across New York City and New York State and discussed how public health experts analyze and disseminate the information.

MƒA teachers participated in a guided, hands-on introductory immersion into 3D computer-aided design modeling, developing project adaptable to their classrooms.

MƒA teachers built a collection of images and stories of weaving from their own lives, constructing cardboard and canvas looms and weaving paper and small textiles. 

MƒA teachers teachers explored existing math trails, created their own, and planned future field trips for their students. 

MƒA teachers learned about the unique biology and prevalence of ASD and ADHD while promoting advocacy and allyship for impacted students. 

MƒA teachers learned how hydroponic systems and accompanying curricula can serve as fantastic tools for STEM education. 

MƒA teachers explored how specific genetic mutations lead to anatomical and physiological changes in the human body.
