How MƒA enabled two teachers to drive their own professional development and build a collaborative multi-school network for elementary math teachers.

MƒA Master Teachers and 2023 Muller Award for Professional Influence in Education winners Larisa Bukalov and Eillie Williamson were featured in two separate Patch.com news stories. 

Williamson, a Jamaica-born educator, has made an impact teaching science in Jamaican, Canadian, and New York school systems over the past 24 years.

Bukalov, who three decades ago emigrated from Ukraine to New York, trained Ukrainian math teachers and students on her way to becoming an award-winning teacher.

Williamson was honored with the MƒA Muller Award for her commitment to professional growth and her work leading and sustaining professional learning communities that serve other teachers.

Bukalov was honored with the MƒA Muller Award for her commitment to developing mathematics teachers through mentoring, modeling, authorship, and the design of professional learning experiences. 

The new MƒA website site has been reimagined visually and offers new ways for audiences inside and outside the MƒA community to discover and share the latest MƒA happenings, resources, and content.
