Manager of Program Evaluation

Tsamchoe is a Manager of Program Evaluation at Math for America. In this role, Tsamchoe is instrumental in MƒA’s data collection, data analysis, and research efforts.

Before joining MƒA, Tsamchoe was a research assistant at Queens College in the World Language Education program, where she was responsible for creating surveys, collecting data, and conducting focus groups to redesign and improve overall New York State Language Curriculum. Tsamchoe has held university-based research associate positions for RFCUNY, NYU Steinhardt, and the University of Northern Iowa. During that time, she handled a variety of projects in areas of pre-kindergarten education, career trajectories of math teachers, academic achievement, and behavior. Tsamchoe is also a certified teacher and has taught in the New York Tibetan Service Center’s COMPASS and other NGO settings.  

Tsamchoe is a Fulbright Scholar, having earned her M.A. in Social Psychology from the University of Northern Iowa. She completed her M.A and B.A. in Political Science from Lady Shri Ram College in India, in addition to her B.Ed. in Social Science and English. Tsamchoe currently lives in Queens, and when she’s not spending time with her family and friends, you can find her catching up on Bollywood gossip or watching apartment tours on YouTube.
