Pooja Bhaskar

Pooja Bhaskar is a Program Officer for Inquiry, Practice, & Leadership at MƒA. In this role, Pooja concentrates on fellowship engagement and developing inquiry, practice, and leadership-focused professional programming for MƒA teachers.

Before joining MƒA, Pooja taught biology and biotechnology for 11 years in the NYC DOE, most recently at Bronx School for Law, Government and Justice and the International High School for Health Sciences and were an MƒA Master Teacher from 2016-2023. As a teacher, Pooja was involved with STEM Ed Innovators, Fund for Teachers, and Earthwatch Project Kindle.

Pooja earned a B.A. from Reed College and a M.A. from CUNY Brooklyn College.
