MƒA seeks a Program Officer (PO) for the MƒA STEM Futures Cohort to play a key role in facilitating and implementing the project. The MƒA STEM Futures Cohort is a new initiative at MfA, focusing on complementing the work of MƒA teachers in New York City high schools by providing programming directly to more students from low-income families, thereby helping them successfully pursue STEM majors in college. The project will include in-school programming events in two partner schools and internships for a cohort of students in the summer. A strong candidate will be versatile and able to assist in coordinating various projects, including managing communication, event planning, and a range of other tasks across the organization. The MƒA STEM Futures Cohort Program Officer must possess excellent written communication skills, be comfortable with various technology platforms, and demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow. This position is a key support within a team led by the Vice President of Special Projects.
If you are early in your career and want to work with a creative, collaborative team in the educational non-profit sector, this may be the opportunity you have been waiting for.

- Collaborate across MfA departments to support their programming, such as Professional Learning, and Admissions & Recruitment
- Be a point of contact between the Vice President of Special Projects and partner school administrators
- Ability to work 1-2 evenings a week, when needed.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will assume this role with a desire to learn and work collaboratively as part of a team.
