Scott Woodson is the Associate Director of Communications & Marketing at MƒA. In this role, he executes a variety of strategic communications programs, working to further goals of awareness, branding, and media exposure, both locally and nationally.
Prior to MƒA, Scott served as the Director of Communications and Strategic Initiatives at Sustainable Long Island, where he led external communications and was the driving force behind the nonprofit organization’s enhanced visibility and reputation. Scott has extensive experience in managing media relations efforts, developing and guiding strategic public relations campaigns, writing, editing, and producing marketing materials, and creating digital content for websites, e-newsletters, and social media.
Scott received a B.F.A. in Public Relations from LIU Post, formerly known as the C.W. Post campus of Long Island University. He was awarded the Certificate of Merit, presented to the student with the highest GPA in their area of study at the time of graduation. In his free time, Scott enjoys immersing himself in seasons of ill-fated devotion as he haplessly roots for the New York Jets.
