ABOUT MƒA ELIGIBILITY

Know and love math
Demonstrate exemplary teaching and leadership skills
Enjoy mentoring and collaborating with colleagues
Teach mathematics in grades 5-12 in a New York City or Boston area public school
Have at least four years of mathematics teaching experience
Hold state teaching certification, and spend at least 75 percent of the time teaching mathematics courses
Must achieve a competitive score on two ETS Praxis II Math Content exams: Mathematics: Content Knowledge (0061) and Mathematics: Proofs, Models, and Problems, Part 1 (0063)
