WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN AN MƒA MASTER TEACHER

MfA Master Teachers

Teach mathematics or science in grades 6-12 in a public school
Have at least four years of mathematics or science teaching experience
Hold state teaching certification and spend at least 60% of your school schedule in classroom mathematics or science instruction
Demonstrate high content knowledge and a love of mathematics or science, exemplary teaching and leadership skills
Enjoy mentoring beginning teachers and collaborating with colleagues
Achieve a competitive score on two ETS Praxis content exams (mathematics or science). Site-specific application pages provide full requirements.
