As a New Teacher Advisor, Marion Tang works with MƒA Fellows within the Math for America New York program.
Marion is a mathematics mentor for new math assistant principals and coaches at the City College of New York. Prior to this position, she was a supervisor of student teachers at New York University. She has also served as an adjunct instructor for the Teaching Fellows program at City College within the research foundation of CUNY. Previously, Marion taught high school mathematics for over 20 years and later served as the assistant principal of the mathematics department at a large urban high school in Manhattan.
Marion earned her M.S. in Administration and Supervision from Pace University, M.S. in Reading from Fordham University and a B.S. in Mathematics from the City College of New York. She lives in Manhattan and spends her time in photography, biking and water activities.
