As Program Associate at Math for America New York, Kellyn Farlow Morris supports the program team in the development of MƒA NY’s Fellowship offerings.
Prior to Math for America, Kellyn was a graduate research fellow at the University of Maryland, College Park where she worked on an NSF-funded project focused on algebra teachers in urban schools. She was also an undergraduate and graduate mentored research assistant at Brigham Young University and worked on projects such as a teaching experiment for undergraduate dance majors taking Calculus. Kellyn has had a range of teaching and mentoring experience, most recently serving as an elementary mathematics methods teaching intern at the University of Maryland in the Master’s Certification Program. She was also an elementary education mathematics instructor and business calculus and college algebra teaching assistant at Brigham Young University.
Kellyn is currently working on a Ph.D. in Mathematics Education at the University of Maryland, College Park. She earned her M.A. in Mathematics Education and B.A. in Mathematics Education from Brigham Young University. A Manhattan resident, Kellyn enjoys spending time with friends and family and exploring new places.
