Julie Berteletti


As Program Associate at Math for America, Julie Berteletti is responsible for coordinating professional development initiatives for MƒA Fellows and MƒA Master Teachers, driving online content creation for the MƒA NY program and developing interactive teacher resources and training.

Prior to MƒA, Julie served as associate online producer at Thirteen/WNET, where she produced educational online content for the “VITAL: Video in Teaching and Learning” website, which included editing lesson plans, background essays and discussion questions related to the children’s animated math show Cyberchase. Julie has also held finance roles at NBC Universal and Signature Pictures, and she worked as a documentary film production assistant at Histor Productions. Julie began her career as a math teacher in Canton, Massachusetts, where she taught eighth grade Algebra and pre-Algebra classes.

Julie earned a B.A. in Mathematics from Dartmouth College. She is currently a math tutor for GMAT and GRE courses. In her spare time, she works on her music blog Second Doubles, which covers concert and album reviews, upcoming concerts and online music videos.
