Leonard Barshack has a background in math and its integration into technology and education. After earning his B.S. in mathematics from Ohio University in 1978, Mr. Barshack worked with numerous state educators to integrate early computers (namely the Apple II) into K-12 classrooms. After 15 years working on Wall Street in a variety of areas including research, sales, and technology, Mr. Barshack co-founded Bigfoot International, Inc. in 1995. Bigfoot grew from a two person startup into one of the world's largest Internet portfolio holding companies.
In 2001, Mr. Barshack, along with Tony Chaskeson, founded Tribeca, the world's first aggregated online poker room. When Tribeca was sold to Playteh LTD in 2006, their network powered over 300 brands.
Currently Mr. Barshack is semi retired and lives in Sun Valley. He is actively advising various companies when not skiing, hiking, or looking for a poker game.
