  • Math Maven Mysteries
    • Published by Scholastic and intended primarily for a middle school audience, this site contains several math mysteries, presented in story form, that hinge around fundamental math concepts like ratios, fractions, money, and logical reasoning.
  • Making Math Projects

  • NCTM Illuminations
    • The Illuminations page at the NCTM website has many lesson plans and interactive tools, all of which are connected explicitly to NCTM standards.
  • NRICH Mathematics Project
    • Based at the University of Cambridge. Their website is full of thousands of free math teaching materials to aid problem solving including problems, games, activities, articles and interactivities. New material is published every month. Also offers 'Ask NRICH', ask a mathematician discussion boards.

    • Math activities for grades 7-12 based on the popular television show "NUMB3RS" (airing on CBS).
  • Problems With a Point
    • Searchable by topic, habit of mind, and required math background, this website contains a database of activities for a wide variety of levels and subjects.
