Be a school administrator in New York City (Math Assistant Principal, General Instruction Assistant Principal, Math Department Chair, Curriculum Supervisor, Math Coach or any other administrative role that holds formal supervisory responsibility for the mathematics instruction in the school)
Have a minimum of four years of experience teaching mathematics
Hold professional certification in mathematics (Elementary, 5-9 or 7-12 Mathematics)
Demonstrate a commitment and dedication to developing the mathematics community for students and teachers at your school
Achieve a competitive score on two ETS Praxis II Math Content exams: Mathematics: Content Knowledge (0061) and Mathematics: Proofs, Models, and Problems, Part 1 (0063) (only candidates with 5-9 mathematics or elementary school certification are required to take the Praxis exams. Candidates with 7-12 mathematics certification are exempt)
Commit to attending a minimum of seven evening meetings per year for each of the two years
