MƒA Fellows are recent college graduates and mid-career professionals who:
• Know and love math
• Enjoy teaching and interacting with young people
• Possess excellent communication skills
• Can create a constructive learning environment for students
• Make a five year commitment to the MƒA Fellowship Program
• Take personal responsibility for themselves and their actions
Admission to the MƒA Fellowship is competitive and our applicants have many unique talents and accomplishments. The Screening and Selection Committee thoroughly reviews the entire application, including academic accomplishments, mathematical ability, interpersonal skills and commitment to MƒA’s mission. Our successful candidates come from varied backgrounds with a variety of life experiences.
All MƒA Fellows make a five year commitment to teach in public schools while actively participating in MƒA corps activities and events. Visit the Los Angeles, New York, San Diego and Washington DC site pages to learn specific details about each program.
