Application Information

Unofficial Academic Transcripts: You will upload scanned copies of unofficial transcripts from any college/university that has conferred you a degree or at which you earned relevant STEM or pedagogy credits.

Contact Information for Three References: You will submit the contact information for three references: one reference from a current principal or assistant principal and two references from colleagues. MƒA will email your references customized forms to complete.

Observation Report(s): You will submit either your most recent formal observation or your two most recent informal observation reports.

You will submit scores from the appropriate Praxis exam for your application subject area as part of the application. Please see our Praxis Exam Guide for how to choose your test. You must take the exam before the deadline listed below. Please see the Educational Testing Service (ETS) website for specific exam dates.

Note: Elementary School teachers must take the middle school Praxis exam for your application subject area, and middle and high school teachers must take the content area exams for your application subject area.

You will complete writing exercises about aspects of your mathematics or science instruction based on prompts provided in the application. These exercises will ask you to consider strengths and areas of growth in your practice and to analyze how you design learning experiences in a specified topic for your students.

If selected to participate in an MƒA Master Teacher Fellowship finalist interview, you will attend a full-day interview (9 a.m. - 5 p.m.) on one of the dates listed below. Due to the number of interviews MƒA will conduct, you should reserve all dates in your calendar until you are notified of your official interview date. The interview consists of both group and individual activities. 

Final fellowship award decisions will be sent in early July.
