PRAXIS II TESTS

The Praxis II tests are subject assessments administered by the Educational Testing Service (ETS). Many states require them as part of the teacher licensing and certification process.

All MƒA applicants are required to take the ETS Praxis II Math Content exam Mathematics Content Knowledge (test number 0061) and Mathematics: Proofs, Models, and Problems, Part 1 (test number 0063) as part of their application.

Typical Praxis scores for MƒA Master Teachers range from 150 to 180 on the Mathematics Content Knowledge test and from 175 to 190 on the Proofs, Models and Problems test.

Math for America will reimburse test and registration fees for all completed applications. Additional information on taking the Praxis tests is available in the application section.
